Amit Mantri is the co-founder of 2Point2 Capital, a SEBI-registered Portfolio Management Services provider. Amit has over 6 years of investing experience across private equity and public markets.
He has earlier served as a Vice-President at Hornbill Capital, a Mumbai based hedge fund. Hornbill is co-sponsored by Orchid Asia which manages US$ 3.0 billion of equity capital for Asia. Prior to Hornbill, he was part of the private equity investment team at IDFC Alternatives and Zephyr Peacock. At Zephyr Peacock, Amit worked on transactions in the logistics, IT infrastructure services, pharmaceuticals, clean-tech and financial distribution industry. He has served on the Board of 20Cube Logistics as an Alternate Director and was part of the team that launched Sri Lanka’s first private equity fund.
Amit has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Bangalore and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He is also a CFA® charterholder.

Born in Kanpur, UP and brought up in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Rohit belonged to a lower middle class family. He worked his way up from neighborhood schools to IIT Kharagpur and is now working as a Partner in New York, in a boutique consulting firm advising global banks and financial institutions. He has 10 years of experience in area of strategy development and problem solving by leveraging advance data analytics. He also co-founded a portfolio management and investing firm in 2011 which operates in Indian Equity markets with an objective of long term value creation. Having grown from lower middle class family in a tier-B city, spent 5 years in Kharagpur and 10 years in millennium city of India and USA, he is a core believer of “Indian Growth Story” and understands the importance of education in shaping the nations future. He has been partnering with other institutions working in similar space for last 5 years by enabling more and more kids to join the mission of education to uncover their future dreams.
